WHO WE ARE
We believe that safe, affordable housing is a right.
We offer our services to those in need without judgment regardless of what their barriers to housing may be.
HERE in Jackson County was founded in 2018 by local community members dedicated to addressing Jackson's gap in services for its homeless population. Since then, we have been designated as Jackson's primary homeless services provider by Jackson County Government and have begun offering services including emergency shelter, housing support programs, and assistance in accessing mental health and healthcare all for our clients experiencing homelessness.
HERE in Jackson County takes a holistic approach ending homelessness. Our staff provides individualized case management services focused on helping clients overcome their barriers to housing.
We help at risk clients avoid entering into homelessness, provide guidance and case management services to those living unsheltered, and continue providing support to our housed clients to ensure their long term success.
